Lisa completed her Certificate IV and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2015 and has spent most of her career working in Victorian animal shelters. Lisa is passionate about finding solutions to end the cycle of unwanted animals entering the shelter system and helping to support the community to provide better outcomes for companion animals.
With her experience working in shelters Lisa aims to provide a high standard of care for all patients and has a particular fondness for the ‘spicy’ cats that are difficult to handle.
As an animal lover Lisa spends a lot of her time caring for her 5 dogs and providing a safe space for the endless foster cats, kittens, puppies and wildlife that pass through her home.

Allie graduated with a Bachelor of Animal Science and Management in 2008 and commenced working in the Animal Welfare industry upon graduation. She initially worked in Adoptions in a local shelter, then moved into veterinary nursing and completed her Cert IV in 2012. Allie was quickly promoted to the management team and it was in this role that she met Lisa. After managing the nursing team for a number of years, Allie moved organisations to try her hand at emergency nursing and this is where she met Christina!
After 12 months Allie realised that she missed helping owners access the resources and solutions they needed to care for their pets when they were unable to do so. This lead her into a position as a Shelter Manager where she stayed for many years. Allie continues to work in the welfare sector today and she is thrilled to be teaming up with her like-minded friends to found The Vet Project, aiming to provide low cost resources to those in need.
When Allie isn't working she is caring for her 4 dogs, 2 cats and her Irish Sport Horse, travelling Australia, or attending a live show or sporting event.
